Tsarevich Alexei Nikolaevich Romanov is the minor character of Anastasia.
The youngest child and only son of Czar Nicholas II and Czarina Alexandra, Alexei was the younger brother of Olga, Tatiana, Marie, and Anastasia. He had a particularly close relationship with his sister Anastasia and often wished to join her mischievous antics. However, he had a great sense of his duty to succeed his father and would take his studies very seriously.
Described as a charming boy, Alexei was next in line to receive the most noble title of Czar. This made his parents very concerned about young Alexei's poor health. Ultimately, he was assassinated during the revolution.
